Re: Riding - Mountain/Road for health & hobby info request

If you want to stick to smoother trails I would recommend a Hardtail. If you wanted to get into more technical riding with rock gardens and jumps, go a dual suspension. Either way I'd recommend something with disc brakes as they are much better at stopping you. What's your budget? Not sure on budge...

What sort of rig would one need to participate in one of the easy rides?

I'm an unfit fat prick looking for motivation to change that.

Made: Finally have a delivery date.

Ruined: Still another 6 weeks away.

Total time will be over 17 weeks from contract date.

Still no cars or an real idea when they will arrive. Meant to be May delivery but surely they would need to be on the boat by now to get here in time?

Re: What has made/ruined you're day (whinge/happy thread)

Cheers for the heads up.

We are also concerned as rego is due n both cars shortly. If we have to pay it we will be asking for something in return. Tyres are also getting low and they are both due a service. All extra money we didn't think we would be paying.

Re: What has made/ruined you're day (whinge/happy thread)

We are still waiting for a delivery date for our cars. We were told 5-8 weeks and would be April delivery. Signed the contracts on March 1st. Now it MIGHT be May delivery but they can't guarantee anything.

Very frustrating.

The only thing that annoyed me with Winmo was lack of apps. I miss it. I'm not a power user but the iPhone just doesn't do it for me. Battery last me two days. Thats how little I use it. My old Winmo was about 2 1/2 days.

I don't understand the hate for cvt? Wife and I just bought a pair of Mitsubishi ASX's. The XLS model so has all the bells and whistles. Just gotta wait till April for Delivery. Really like the way it drove and felt a little punchier than my current Lancer. Having driven CVT autos for the last 6 yea...
