That looks decent but is there a reputable place to get it from? There's a couple of online places that sell them in Oz but if there's a preferred website for use, I'll happily take advice....

Modem recommendations....

Guys, Looks like the old Telstra wifi modem is on its way out. Anyone got any recommendations for a good bang for buck modem with wifi capability that's plug and play and also budget friendly? I've honestly got no idea what I should be budgeting but was hoping for no more than $150... Cheers. Wood

Re: Movie/TV thread- reviews & suggestions

Okies... Escape Plan was a pleasant surprise. Thought it would be a bit of mindless drivel given it was Stallone AND Swarzennegger (sp) but it actually kept me and missus interested all the way to the end. Worth the watch. Wolf of Wall Street got a little bit 'meh' towards the end. I just didnt clic...

Re: new rubber for a '94 Landcruiser ute

If he just wants cheap then search ebay for second hand. Theres shedloads. If he's chasing a basic all-terrain tyre but looking for best kms then get Cooper AT's. Should see anywhere between 60-90 out of them. If he's chasing decent 4x4 tyres then he needs to figure out how much he wants to spend. M...

By all accounts..... Real. However, if the internet has lied to me, I will never trust it again...

Would be interesting to see if it would be allowed on road vehicles though.

Re: This would be scary ... bikes!

Frightening for the rover driver certainly... Pack mentality at its finest. Whats amazed me most is all the people blaming the rover for all of this carnage. * Rover gets abused as bikers want to 'close down' the highway so they can race. (This has been admitted by some of the bikers in the New Jers...

Which EoP adaptor?

New house. Can't run lines. Modem is in kitchen and the two main network areas are in opposite sides of the house. Will need three different adapters for the three different parts of the house requiring net. Chasing fastest option possible without blowing out the wallet. Chuck out a few suggestions ...

How come 20 years? WoT series started back in the early 90's. I picked up the first one in 93 and read each one religiously until picking up Book fourteen early this year. Sat on the couch and read for almost ten hours straight...

Re: been reading any good books?

Enjoyed Inferno. It was a little more fast paced than The lost Symbol. almost reminded me of an intellectual Clive Cussler. Just started catching up on all the Feist books. Re-read Magician, because its possibly the greatest fantasy novel ever, continued back to the conclave of the shadows trilogy a...

Off Topic: I don't think soldiers are the 'lower end of the scale'. Is that a common view?? Nah, i just meant as the end of product of a long line of beauracracy. The worker at the end of the food chain. The blue collar guy that keeps everything running as opposed to management. The mechanic on the...

Re: Election 2013 - Official Discussion Thread

Dan, its got nothing to do with 'slumming with the soldiers'. Its more that they had better attitudes towards the people at the lower end of the scale that mattered. The troll got up, said her piece then left without even looking back. She had no time for us at all. Rudd and Abbott both showed an in...

Re: Election 2013 - Official Discussion Thread

Its funny what people will base their votes and opinions on. Given my voerseas experience with media reporting, I can't be bothered listening to that crap anymore. I've met three prime ministers now and one 'potential' PM while playing army. Howard here in Oz, Rudd in Iraq, Abbott and the troll in A...
