Re: Solar Thread - PVOutput

Has anyone heard of Solarkraft? I have a mate who has received a proposal from them and they seem to partner or sell to Diamond Energy at 20c/kwh and guarantee pay back etc My concerns are: 1 - If sounds too good it usually is 2 - Its a heavy sales pitch which usually refers to point 1 3 - If they g...

Re: Solar Thread - PVOutput

We're getting 14 x 260w Winaico panels aswell (facing north west) in addition to the 16 x 190w Trina panels we currently have which are north east. With the current Trina setup, we offset around $240-300/quarter depending on the time of year. The new panels should add a lot more to that now we'll b...

Re: Laser vision correction

My vision was -1.50 in both eyes Yes they have said drops in eyes for next 6 months - just the general drops. The flucon drops are for 4 weeks and then they just say lubricate the eye for 6 months so it doesn't go dry. Today I have already only used the flucon drops and not needed the lubrication's ...

Re: Tarmac Rally

Awesome video - that is commitment - anything that looks committed as in car is scary in the car from what I know

Great videos - why were White's running front of you? Doesn't allow them to run last for convenience? Was nice of them to let you through reasonably cleanly

Re: Laser vision correction

I am booked in for LASIK with Dr Lee Lenton at Vision Eye Institute in approx 2 weeks. Awesome vid cam thanks for posting. Looked like a lot more confidence towards the end - amazing how much full throttle - out of interest how much elevation is there as it seemed like a lot of full throttle but not the speed you would expect so I presume the incline was an interesting battle

Re: Advice required - retaining walls etc

My thoughts on the plans and without being to site: Western Side: Is Emt F just for the services? ie the Sewer? if so I would think it would be acheivable to fill out into this area up to the manholes and then retain on the boundary - having said that to me it looks like remove the existing sleeper ...

Re: Solar Thread - PVOutput

Finally got organised and am having Positronic install a 6.5kw array on Monday - should be up and running quickly as its an existing house. 1 question I have read Noel's compass tool and my house faces about 10degrees ... how is this for Solar production?
