make sure you get a non australian made version - you can see which sizes are made in australia on the size listing on the bridgestone site. apparently they are rubbish.

bf goodrich sports are a great tyre. apparently they are basically a re work of the michelin pp2's which are a brilliant tyre. if you don't get these have a look at the bridgestone adrenalines - simply awesome for the money. for going up in performance you are really going to have to pay quite a bit...

thanks for the advice - this is a side of cars I have little to no knowledge of. the budget is potentially huge - into 6 figures easy. Lets see how tomorrow goes - if it gets through tomorrow its a good sign!

it will be a supercharged application. so you think l98 is the way to go. could it be an lsx block and l98 head setup - would that fit?

cant say just yet but all will be revealed if the project gets the nod to proceed. just doing some ground work to see if what we are proposing is possible. it looks like it is so its just a matter of getting approval.

1200hp ls2 - who can build one in brisbane

I was wondering if anyone on here could recomend a performance shop who is capable of building a reliable 1200hp ls2 motor. they would need to be able to build all the usual bits to go with it, driveline, chassi upgrades etc. the only people I have in my head are the brock shop. any advice is welcom...
