well twin gktech dump pipe has arrived and is on the car. i fitted it this afternoon. all in all, i didnt notice an increase in power, it still feels the same. boost is still the same at the 16psi peak and only drops to 15psi by redline. the 2 things i did notice is the idle seems to be 100rpm higher. and its a wee bit louder all through the rev range, especially at idle...

well now its just a matter of getting off my ass and giving trent a call...

and a thing i have noticed, under WOT in 1st, as it comes on boost, it starts to break traction, and thats with my 245/50r16's... cant wait till thursday to drop the 205's back on for some hopefully no cutting out action... :D :D

well, ive put the manual in it now, and it only needs the clutch pedal to finish it off. and a new fual pump, the XR6 turbo one isnt working anymore. hopefully this is my problem.

and i built a new design tail shaft for it too. a 2 piece custom job that im going to be testing. it should handle at least 350rwhp, the only problem it would have with any more is busting the rubber centre bearing. but hopefully she'll be right... the rest of it will cop over 400rwhp... which is way more than my target.

thats the solid stub that has a spline on it that goes into the centre of teh CV joint. the GTR and turbo 300zx has teh same stub. they'll cop some power, after all, the BA XR6 turbo can push around 400rwhp before their tailshaft shits itself, and thats only because of teh front rubber doughnut, not because of the CV... the rest of teh shaft, is tube.
