sorry graham, im hanging on to this one for a while, and if i ever sell it, i'll be keeping the whole engine/gearbox/rear end combo to slide into an R32 4 door.

no worries about the work, even though i was so forgetful about the silcencer, your welcome :P

You and tim sound like both keen on having cars for good burnouts and 4wding. Any ideas to make a car that can do both really well :-) hehe.

well my patrol will have air operated diff locks, and its has the good old trusty RB30, so i could bolt a turbo on, whack a set of skinnies on and fry the tyres i suppose.

well this project has come to an end.

i sold it last week, got what i wanted for it, for a change. i made about $3000 on what i spent on the car, including buying it. but there was more than $3000 worth of my time going into that car. but at the same time, i had a blast driving it, but now my financial concerns are elsewhere.

i have spent more money on the patrol, adding some touches to make it very capable in the bush, but above all, i am completely debt free. i have no loans and owe nobody nothing. i will be putting a for sale thread up soon, to sell all the bits and pieces from my silvia that i collected for spares.

i hope the people that i took for rides and cruises enjoyed the car half as much as me, because they would have had a ball.

And special thanks goes to rob, jonesy and tim, all who spent alot of time helping me build the car. rob and jonesy for helping me do the engine conversion, and tim for all the advice and fabrication.

Ahh the memories.... haha

Gees there were a few... from the 3am nights a couple of nights in a row of work on the engine swap, the long nights rebuilding it again after the stack, and months of swearing when a water temp sensor threw it into chaos...

Ah well, the Patrol is gonna be fun for sure.

yeah for once noone popped a tyre.

dad damage is passenger door is really dented, and the B pillar behend the door is fucked too. the tray was bent too where the roll bar goes up. dad also damaged a tailshaft, worse than mine as he had to remove it and drive on the front diff, to get home. he also smashed a rear taillight.

tim on the other hand, got off lightly. only dented the passenger door slightly, and dented the B pillar slightly. other than that, lots of mud and a slightly sented bullbar.
