Now that everything is fixed(fkn ford wty) in 3rd gear I need a couple lanes to drive the thing with the right foot on the go pedal at 60km/h and not hit something.

People can say what they like about various workshops, but John certainly knows how to make a car quick.. other guys with similar top end power don't have cars as wild as mine is on the road.

You should go there next time for a mods/tune session.

Ash you got the new rims fitted to the front what size width etc did they end up being cause the website looks like 9.5 wide front and back which is massive but what I was wanting to do.. but I need suspension and don't wanna pay for it.

They are 19x9.5 30+ offset.
245/35R19 tyres all around.

I've got 245/35/19's now I want wider rims for wider tyres lol if I'm gunna buy 245's I'll use stock rims..

Is there enough room to fit a wider front tyre? I like the idea of rotating tyres so was wanting to have the same width front/rear 265/275 would be nice all round I think eventually

I will possibly steal your rims someday but for now I think I'll go stickier tyres in 245/35/19 on stock rims

You can fit wider tyres on the rear. Just depends on the offset of the wheels.
Anything larger than a 265 would scrub on mine I reckon.
Fronts. Dunno. I don't think I could go any wider at the front.
Just swap left to right. The insides of the tyres wear a lot faster than the outside once it's lowered.


On a different topic. Went for a spin in a brand new cooper jcw gp today. Wow. What a car.
The ford is obviously a lot faster in a straight line, but this car was unbelievable around corners. For a fwd car, it handled like it was on rails. All made sense why phags love these cars. They look cute, but they're so fun to drive!!!

I thought Greg was the service coordinator. Nah not a mate of mine, I was just there to check out an FG ute tail shaft. Luke seemed pretty good though.
