Bought the bov and installed it this morning. Its actually really quiet but still can be heard.
I ended up getting the new turbosmart model.

nah mate, under the riverside expressway...
dont think you'd be able to get a car anywhere near the goodwill bridge, could you?

big security risk though... where i was parked was directly under the riverside expressway and the other bridge that goes to the cultral area of south brisbane (forget the name of it)...
if i was a person of the unsavoury type, i could have quite easily parked my car there and walked away from it... then there would be no more bridges in that area... if you get my drift...
im just saying though...

Lesson Learnt:
never work on a car in a rush...

turns out i installed the bov the opposite way around...

i'm 87.34% sure that i checked that it was the right way... but then i gave it to a mate to hold while i grabbed my pliers...
he musta moved it around in his hand and i didnt re-check it...

anyway, after i realised last night and switched it back, it drives a lot better and i'm back to the loud PSCHHHTTTTT sound which i didnt really want...
the soft sound which i got but putting it around the other way was MUCH better... :D
so thinking about removing the trumpet and just making it 100% recirculate like the stock bov... soooooooo, $200 wasted...
i was told this one wont be as loud as the one i had on the silvia (brendan can say how loud and stupid that one was), but i reckon its close to the same loudness... :(

Nice wheels on an F6. Probably stocko's though, which means you wont like them. Does show that a classic wheel does look the goods.

yeah not a big fan of those rims...
not cause they're stockos.. but i just dont like the style of rims...

i'm pretty much set on those cuzco's (or whatever they're called) unless someone can show me something new...

these ones:
http://www.allwheels.com.au/cata/images ... co_blk.jpg

or i dont mind these:
http://www.allwheels.com.au/cata/produc ... 443&page=2
just not too sure if they'd suit the car or not... :?

i need to see the first ones in real life anyway to see how much the centre goes in from the outside of the rim...

Ditch the second ones, they will look too whimpy on a big car like yours.

Not a massive fan of the first ones, but its your decision, not mine :D

The first ones in your post above are the pick of all those.

The ones I called whimpy I hate because the spoke doesnt go to the edge of the wheel. A guy I know has a similar design on his car and it makes the wheel look tiny, like a 15" rim (when the rim is 17").

Of your last post, I dont like the red lip, but the wheel itself isnt too bad, the second ones are too busy (also makes the wheel look smaller than it is).

From the site evan posted:

Those torque thrust's seem to keep coming back up!
