the sub probably shares the same air space as the parcel shelf speakers which means if you change the phase of the speakers it will change the sound. basically its like this... as the sub is pushing one way the other speakers are pushing the opposite way thereby filling the space of each other. this will have a large impact on base and treble should be fine. i wouldnt have thought it would make a massive difference in the space of a boot, but in a small enclosure it does for obvious reasons.

Absolutely loving this car the longer I own it!!

The soot problem has gone away since driving more than 1000km's.

It gets a lot of attention driving around too which is surprising.

Ah, good to hear!

Been driving a HSV GTS around for the past 2 and a bit weeks, looking after it for the boss... and is auto. Just doesn't do the car justice at all....!

My car gets used to and from work, so manual isnt all that bad. If I do Gold Coast branch, I average 80-85km/h (90% time on Logan Motorway & M1). And I love having a punt on the weekends! Agreed it need poke though! Flogging a slow car is boring

Went in for a 15K service - the car is about 21 months old.

Warranty Work to be Done:
- Replace seat base (drivers side) as it's making noise
- Front of engine oil leak, taking it all apart
- Rear Diff Replacement (car is making strange noises at 70km/h).

The good news is its costing me nothing and I can still do some great skids.

Ahh, Ford quality.

It's funny that all this shit goes wrong @ 16,000km's but EVERY day I drive this car it makes me smile and laugh. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It's like a dosile puppy with a stupid side :P

hard for them to make money on the car when it costs that much to maintain the warranty!!

Cruise control stopped working in my Forester for about a year too.
Can't remember how that was solved. Some sensor on the cat converter actually I think. Random much?
