Thanks to the rain I had to do the painting in the garage over the last two days. And subsequently (not wearing a mask) I'm still blowing black paint snot out my nose. Guess it can't be any worse for me than smoking :/

Prob won't have time to get rubber refitted for a while- busy all week and next weekend :(

Fkn electrical problem.

Drivers side low beam was out. So I bought a bulb. Went to put it in and discover the plug has signs of frying itself at some stage. Found a wire hanging out, and some pretty amateur joining work. Checked it against the working light and now neither headlight works (both bulbs are healthy).
When the drivers side is connected "properly" the high beam light is lit on the dash, even when only parkers are on.

This and the fan in the cabin are two electrical gremlins I've found so far. Neither resolved yet. PITA

Yeah, I've been told I have to sell the ute before I register the shitta. So it's just sitting ATM.
Doing a bit of a tidy up on the ute right now, needs a polish and then chuck an ad up and hope for the best.

Car is parked outside ATM, looks purple rather than blue in full sunlight!

There's verrrrrrrrrry tentative plans to squeeze a turbo on btw. It'll be all spare parts paying around, with a cheapo computer if it ever happens.

Long story short, wheels were a bad buy.
They scrub pretty bad on the rear, and on the front when on full lock.
Also discovered that one rim is badly buckled. Over 400grams of wheels weights couldn't fix the balance. Driven it for a few days but tired of it today, so I'm running super low on 13" rims now. Hecktik low.

Also forgot to tighten the wheel nuts after putting rims on. The trip to Qld Transport was interesting- almost lost passenger front wheel. Embarrassing.

Essentially paid $50 a tyre for crappy (but good tread) tyres. The rims were a waste.

Going to run 14's now, black steelies with chrome rim.
Also chucked on an old pod filter I had here, so mad induction noise going on now.

New water pump put in too courtesy of Next Up Performance. Pump cost me the grand sum of $89!
