2003 Nissan Xterra

Post by Evan » Wed 08 Aug, 2012 2:51 am

So I went and bought a new car on the weekend. Pick it up later this week once pending a mechanical inspection, etc. I was looking at a couple of different cars (Audi Allroad/BMW X5) - but this new car better suits us, is more affordable, will be easier to resell when we do leave and cheaper on parts (hopefully not that i'll need to buy any).

Its a 2003 Nissan Xterra. no idea if I'll mod it, just thought I'd put some photos online. will be buying a proper rack to put the snowboards on top.

rhomel really likes the shiny wheels. he plans on going cruising on the weekends on Davie Street to pickup some hot ass.

The Canucks seem to go bullshit crazy over small/medium Jap SUVs and bling rims. There's forum after forum...

Looks straight n clean though, nice buy :)

oh, and we didn't pay that. bought it off the shelf for $300CAD.

No hooking up to a nav, but i did read somewhere that you can do something with screen mirroring - but i need to find more detail. it isn't documented in the manual. if it supports that - then you could just mirror the screen (and audio) from your iPhone and display the route info and stuff on the headunit.

the car ticked over to 179k yesterday, and it needs a wash. stay tuned for some more on the edge of your seat updates.
