That's looks very cool and is cheap. Most good looking 'things' generally cost more.

B&H have them for ~$35 landed if we buy a few.

Currently exploring some local options, will see when (if?) they come back to me.

speaking of impulse buying, tonight i bought my first real decent in-game currency to trade for shiny 3d model airplanes for USD$115.

dirt cheap don't have stock until next week. shipping is $16 for 3 (you, ted and I).

These things are awesome ;)

Build quality is phenominal, there's enough strength in it to easily hold an SLR and a decent lens, but its still small enough to throw in my bag for the point and shoot.

Only downside is that the ballhead needs to loosen up a bit.
