Polaroid Cameras
Ok so, Jo bought a (new style) Polaroid camera a few weeks ago, (remember them?) and we've now used it a couple of times to take photos of the new arrival. It's idiot proof to use, auto focusing etc and uses credit card sized Polaroid film.
I have to say, I forgot how good using a traditional camera was. There's just something retro cool about taking a photo and having an instant print.
It was really useful yesterday when the mum's visited, and we were able to take a photo of them holding Veronica, and we were instantly able to give them a photo they could take away with them.
The good thing is (and I forgot this), you can write on the photo in the blank white space down the bottom.
AAA+++ would recommend if you want some retro cool and to stand out from the digital camera crowd.

Re: Polaroid Cameras
There was a photo booth at Jill's wedding on Saturday. Fkn awesome.
The photographer walked in when I still had my pants down. If I hadn't have been drunk it might've been awkward.

Re: Polaroid Cameras
Bad choice imo. Well worth it even with the joke pics. I'd definitely do it if I had my time over. Can't get much more candid really

Re: Polaroid Cameras
Yeah people always seem to have lots of fun in photo booths. There's a company that hires out actual booths with the curtains etc that print out the little prints then and there. That'd be all right I reckon.

Re: Polaroid Cameras
That's exactly what Jill and Brad had Eric. Awesome. Prints two copies, one to keep and one to put in the newlyweds album.

Re: Polaroid Cameras
We didn't have an actual booth, but Jo's cousin ran an area where guests could go up with a white board, write something and take a silly picture. It worked so well and now one of our favourite canvases is a collage of all the photos taken from that "booth area". We actually stole the idea from Cam & Sian's wedding because it was so much fun.

Re: Polaroid Cameras
Ha... I've got the mini plus the panorama intstax cameras, both still work fine. Wife bought a Polaroid album online then found out the inserts needed the wide angle camera. So she went out and bought an entire new camera.
