Not interested in exif - but was this on film or digital? Really good shot, the stars looked like that on my Mt Barney trip recently.

You might recall I picked up a Nikon F601 at my local cash converters for virtually nothing. I loaded up some Ilford HP5 and have just got back 2 rolls. I love this stuff.....the contrast has blown me away. A pity it's so expensive to process though.

Sample:

Ilford HP5 rated 400 ISO, not pushed
24mm 1/125th @ F 2.8

Nothing done to this, straight off the scanner.

Very nice cam.
I go to warwick a lot to visit my inlaws and always forget to take my camera. It's only once I'm there that I think "fuck forgot it again"
There's a town nearby called yangan where Becs cousin lives and it'd be the perfect place for these kinda shots. Tiny small town that goes to sleep at dark except for the pub. Lol

Jimmy Choo shoes are (were?) a big brand for wedding shoes, at least two years ago, anyway

Professional Amatuer Shots

Post by daBOODA » Wed 19 Aug, 2015 2:14 pm

Went to a one on one photo workshop on Monday with head shot and wedding photographer Tyler Alberti.

He showed me a few lighting options that I have been reading about and also gave me some advice on engagement and wedding portrait sessions.

Here's a couple of shots from the day

Brilliant. Its the colours for me, I don't think it would have looked as good if he was in a black suit.
