Exactly. Same mindset for people who choose to buy a Lexus, own it for 15 years, put 400,000km on the driveline essentials - then trade it in for another model.

Oh and fwiw, the old car probably still runs just fine, and the engine is smooth enough to balance a 50c piece on the block, start her up, repeatedly flog until redline - and the coin will not fall over.

^^ I'm one of those is all I'm saying. Buy once and buy right. Takes a wealthy man to keep replacing inferior tools :wink

I won't argue with you Ian, I will just lol ....
I just don't know if people like me. I know when they don't like me 'cause they'll say things like, 'Yeah, that's him, officer.'

Each model has different variations of graphics/network/bluetooth adapters etc, but the operating system has drivers for all the different models included (except for really old stuff).

For example, you can take a hard drive out of a dead Macbook, connect it to an iMac and it will just work like nothing ever happened.

To Enable "God Mode" on Windows 10 - create a folder on your desktop and name it exactly this.. GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

God mode = all your configurable settings in 1 location (rather than having to troll through Control Panel etc)

Win8 was clumsy on a desktop, on the surface pro it was pretty good.
Win10 seems great on a desktop, but it's taking some getting used to on the surface.

hehe...yeah I still kind of prefer the Windows 10 "desktop mode", even when I'm using my surface in tablet mode.
