Apple Music

Post by iano » Tue 21 Jul, 2015 3:33 pm

Signed up for the 3 month trial.

I'm totally impressed hey...! Easy to use, sounds great, NO ADS and the recommendations are excellent. Really honing in on the stuff I like.

For $12/mo I would happily swap Netflix to a subscription for this instead.

I like spotify, but you can't bloody cast to chromecast which is a massive downer.
Will use it again more once my Bluetooth speaker arrives.

I'll deal with ads when it comes to cost. I just don't _love_ music quite enough to pay for it.

yeah i have dan, didn't grab me at all.

i like the fact that apple music fully links in with what i've already got in my library, and the music app itself integrates far more nicely than spotify does - assuming you've got a mac/iPad/iPhone etc.

that's only because apple's not sharing it's itunes library with spotify right? I found it easy to drop my music collection into spotify. not apple hating, but some tasks, like putting my sisters wedding photos onto mum's ipad, prove to be way harder then I would think it should be.

yeah.. like Dan said, Spotfy shits on Apple Musics.... for the moment. However, I'm sure after a year, Apple Music will be the defacto.

They can't expect to grab the majority of market share on the first iteration. For the moment, I'll be sticking with Spotify.
