I could never be your woman (!)
The hangover

Rubbish to avoid
Avatar
The invention of lying
The informant
Up

So so movies:

I didn't mind up. I liked the story behind avatar just didn't really like the alien thing. 7 pounds was good. From Paris with love good action flick. Won't top taken for me though. The blind side I liked.
I just don't know if people like me. I know when they don't like me 'cause they'll say things like, 'Yeah, that's him, officer.'

Zombieland is a brilliant, brilliant movie. I'd put it up there as one of my favourite movies of all time.

Nice thread G - can't believe it hasn't been raised before

My picks:
Avatar 3D - fkn loved it. Story was simple but the overall experience was brilliant
Law Abiding Citizen

Rubbish to avoid:
Prince of Persia (bloody awful - see other thread)
My year without sex (Australian independant release - flat, drab and utterly boring)

So so movies:
It's complicated (Merryl Streep & Alec Baldwin)

Can think of many more but bit busy atm, will check this thread later :)

Forgot Taken. That was awesome.

I'm fairly narrow-minded when it comes to movies... Apart from a great comedy, I usually require a damn good storyline to keep me interested.

I've got a handful of movies stocked up on the foxtel box so once I've watched them I'll update on here.

Oh and they don't have to be particularly recent, just better if you've watched them recently.

I didn't like district 9. I forced myself to watch it through, and the second half was better than the first.

And role models. That was good.

I don't see why zombieland was good..

Main actor does same character in all his movies and that's just plain annoying!

Quite enjoyed where the wild things are, but the kid got a little annoying at times.

Oh, a movie I saw a while back was Black Sheep - with Chris Farley.

Ollllld old old old, way back in the 90s, but fuck it was funny  That guy was a complete nutter (he's dead now).

Boy in the Striped Pyjama's was pretty good (apparently nowhere near as good as the book though - which is always the case).

One movie to AVOID is "How to Rob a Bank". After watching it, I felt angry! Angry that I lost 2hrs of my life that I'll never get compensated for.
