dunno why you're paying so much mate. i just paid nrma $630 for my patrol on an agreed value of $35k. and i had 2 claims with them from last year's hail storm, cost them about $23k. is your excess low?? mine is $800.

fwiw, i shopped around a bit because last year the insurance was $520 and i felt the increase was a bit of a rip, but NRMA was still the cheapest by far.

Yeah it didn't add up, beats me. I hadn't claimed with RACQ for years, excess was standard $650 or whatever, rating 1, 60% for life and all that other bs.... The premiums been creeping for a while now and an extra dollar per month here and there i usually turned a blind eye to.

But this latest one shot up dramatically. They need to fire the chick I spoke to in the customer retention dept as I was put on hold for about 20 seconds to see whether there was anything they could do to reduce the cost. Came back as a flat out no.....hardly even an apology made nor reasons given. I scrapped it on the spot.

You're right as well, NRMA way below everyone else which is whom I went with.

Lol
I just don't know if people like me. I know when they don't like me 'cause they'll say things like, 'Yeah, that's him, officer.'

I fell off the stairs last Thursday and broke a bone in my foot and done quite a bit of damage to my ankle.
Moon boot for at least 6 weeks.
Already sick of it. Wish we didn't buy a townhouse as the stairs are not fun :(
