Website Hosting

Post by blv » Fri 11 Dec, 2015 10:53 am

Fellow rAU'ers,

I have finally gotten off my arse and registered a domain for my side business. I am in the process of building a website, and I am wondering of a good place that can host for me. Has anyone got any good recommendations??

I am thinking of also signing up to Google Apps, where for $5/month you can have a xxxx@yourbusiness..com.au email address through the gmail app. It seems complicated to setup, but I'm sure I will figure it out. Is this a decent thing, or could I get email hosting with the same company as my web hosting?

Thanks in advanced.
I just don't know if people like me. I know when they don't like me 'cause they'll say things like, 'Yeah, that's him, officer.'

Hosting your e-mail on google mail is the best way to go for e-mail.

I go through quadrahosting for my webhosting but it's probably expensive for what it is. They don't go down at all, though, so it's probably worth it.

I've used bluehost.com for the past 10yrs+ - I've never had a problem with them.
