6 - 6.5in coax car audio speakers

Post by iano » Sun 31 May, 2015 1:58 pm

Anyone got a set of these lying around gathering dust? Need to be reasonably good quality, Alpine would be totes ideal.

If not I'll buy a pair new but just thought I would ask, cheers.

Note: Coax and NOT splits I just want to drop them in, ie 5 minute job.

Oh yeah??

Could be keen for sure. Wife's new CRV has a cassette player. Yep, that's it. Obviously some old dude owned it before us.

I was just going for a budget setup but since it's such a nice car (for the age), I'm now going to hold out and put in something nice.

Sing out if you want to let em go dude :)

Speaking of which.....I think I remember selling you one of my old Alpine amps, be a very long time ago now. Don't suppose it's still around?

I have a box full of stereo stuff that we pulled out of our fully sik Lancer a couple of years ago. No idea if its good or not, but it has all sorts of stuff there that you can have.

they've literally been sitting there for the last 3yrs (maybe longer) collecting dust inside the box.

nah dont have it any more. no idea who i sold that amp to either. lol.

edit: went through my emails. bought it 03/07/2012.

PM sent :)

They look like they are efficient enough to run directly off a headunit, which is what I'm after.

That's why I bought them. Couldn't be arsed with amps and line converters etc.
