lol...
However, people's personal preferences when it comes to photography have nothing to do with empirical measurements of pixel data.

I just don't know if people like me. I know when they don't like me 'cause they'll say things like, 'Yeah, that's him, officer.'

Interesting... It's probably one of those shots where a 5mm lens is required just to soak in the grandeur of it all!

I totally agree. a 5mm lens on a FF sensor. Lake Louise is just spectacular. I'd really like to go back in the summer months and see the blue and turquoise colours. When we were there in mid-November, the lake was just starting to freeze in, you can see some of the surface ice in that photo just where the entry to the overflow channel is. They said another week or two and it would have frozen right over, and be thick enough to ice skate on.

Thanks guys!
Now it's just a matter of deciding between the landscape or portrait shots to get printed. This was the other photo I took from the same location.

If all of your feature photographs from your travels are vertical, then go with the vertical. If you're not trying to keep in line with a series then horizontal.

It's actually the other way around... all the other ones I've printed were horizontal, I thought I'd print a vertical one just for something different.

If it fits in with the others as a vertical then ok but since it's part of a series I would guess that using the horizontal version would fit more with the series. I feel that having one be a different orientation would be a little jarring when all the others were horizontal.
Then again it's your art so you do what makes YOU happy
